Privacy policy

What we collect, what we don’t, and what stays inside your own network.

The short version

  • Product usage data stays on your file server. We do not receive it.
  • We never collect model, drawing or project content.
  • Payments are handled by our reseller; we never see your card details.
  • Licence activation sends only a licence key and a machine identifier.

Who we are

Yugmir Technologies (“we”) provides Yugmir Kinetic and related software. For privacy questions, contact support@yugmir.com.

Data we process

Licence activation

When the software activates or validates a licence, it sends the licence key and an identifier derived from the machine to our licensing provider. This is used to enforce seat limits and to prevent one licence being used on unlimited machines. It carries no project information.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment and applicable taxes. They collect the billing details needed to complete the sale. We receive order and licence records, but not your full payment instrument details.

Product usage (telemetry)

Kinetic can record which tool was run, whether it succeeded, when, the Revit version, and the Windows user who ran it. This is written to your organisation’s own file server and is not transmitted to us. It exists so your administrators can see adoption, reliability and time saved.

Collection is controlled at two levels:

  • Your organisation may set collection to optional, required, or disabled for everyone
  • Where the choice is left open, each user is asked once and may change it later
  • If your organisation disables collection, no user setting can re-enable it

Because this data resides on your infrastructure, your organisation is its controller. Retention and deletion are under your control.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we keep that correspondence and any diagnostic files you choose to send so we can help and refer back to the history.

This website

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and embeds no third-party analytics scripts. Our hosting provider processes standard server request data for delivery and security.

What we never collect

Model or drawing content, project names, file contents, or anything about the buildings you design. The software has no facility to send these to us.

Your rights

You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Write to support@yugmir.com.

For telemetry held on your employer’s servers, those requests go to your employer, because we have no access to it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify licence holders by email.
